Soya beans by the numbers
DATA VISUALIZATION – DATA DESIGN – INFORMATION DESIGN – TABLEAU
Brief
As part of the course Data Design at the IT-University, the exam assignment was to plan and design a Data Viz by using the program Tableau. I chose to work with a data set containing information on what produce is used for feed for animals and food for humans.
Challenge
The overall challenge of was to find an angle is this gargantuan dataset that was unexpected, informative and intriguing. After cleaning the data and searching for interesting patterns I chose to focus on one produce in particular: The Soya Bean.
Solution
The final visualization contains of several graphs displaying insights and fact of the Soya Bean that might not be know to the public. Furthermore, as a feature, I made the entire Dataviz interactive so that people can dive into the numbers and figures of the green bean.
